# JavaScript SDKs — v2

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Candidate documentation, not a release announcement.** These pages are generated from SDK candidate commit [`9f3a0ae`](https://github.com/reflagcom/javascript/commit/9f3a0ae027e386747a2d4cf7683a68dcab70b355), version **2.0.0-next.0**. Matching SDK/CLI releases and server readiness are still required. A staging server deployment alone does not release these packages.
{% endhint %}

Use the **v1 / v2 variant picker** in the JavaScript SDKs section to change versions. Both variants use the same package and reference paths so equivalent pages can be matched.

## Compatibility

V2 reads return direct Boolean/JSON values, with positional defaults for JSON reads. Tracking and feedback are separate APIs. For server bootstrap, use matching Node and Browser/framework v2 packages. Regenerate direct-value declarations with CLI 2 when that release is available.

React Native, OpenFeature and Management retain their independently supported contracts; this selector does not claim v2 support for them.

SDK READMEs and API comments remain authored in the [JavaScript repository](https://github.com/reflagcom/javascript). The pages here are generated, version-labelled copies—not a second manually maintained SDK reference.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.reflag.com/~/revisions/WpbznaqM0NJHyEE54aa5/readme.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
